Circus Starr’s 2018 winter tour fired imaginations!

2018 is shaping up to be a BRILLIANT year thanks to the support given, Circus Starr’s winter tour fired imaginations, brought smiles to faces and made memories to last for years to come.

On behalf of all the children (along with their grown-ups) who had the time of their lives at a free, relaxed & inclusive show Circus Starr would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU!

Hope you enjoy reading all about it!

A research report out before Christmas revealed the shocking fact that 43% of children with a disability have been turned away from festive events.

Your support has enabled families often excluded from fun festivities to come together and make priceless memories at an inclusive show.

Two in five parents say their disabled child ‘rarely’ or ‘never’ has an opportunity to socialise and mix with children who are not disabled.

Circus Starr is on a mission to right this wrong! Our events unite children with all sorts of different needs and circumstances to laugh and have fun together in a safe and unique atmosphere.

This is what their support means to a few of these families:

“Life can be very challenging for disabled children and young people and their families, and the special moments created at the shows are precious.” – Anna, Amaze.

“It is great to know there are still people out there that care a great deal about disabled children and their families. Keep up the great work everyone involved in Circus Starr!” – Emma, Parent

“My son has autism and was extremely anxious ahead of the show…we feared an early exit but he (and all of us) was thoroughly engaged in the show throughout. He was clapping and joining in like I’ve never seen before.” – Dawn, Parent
